There is a Mental Hospital Development Committee which takes care of overall developmental service improvement and resource mobilization work. The chairman is appointed by the government of Nepal with 2 years tenure. All together, it consists of 11 memmbers. The current newly appointed chairman of the MHDC is Dr. Dinesh Maharjan from Sunakothi, Patan. He is district secretary of Maoist Party as well.
